Cultural IYC2011 Event: Sinhala and Tamil New Year Celebration N.M. Sanjaya Hettigedara   |   added on Feb 23, 2011    |    Sri Lanka This cultural celebration will be held at the Folk Art Centre (Janakala Kendraya) at Pelawatte, Battaramulla, on 3rd April 2011 from 9:00am to 8:00pm. The entire programme will be especially focused on the cultural values and harmony among communities. Demonstration of chemistry of traditional foods is one of the activities.

CHEMEX 2011 Trade Fair and Exhibition N.M. IYC 2011 and the CHEMEX 2011 were ceremonially inaugurated by Hon. Prof. Tissa Vitharana Sr. Minister of Scientific Affairs on 27th February 2011.
