In this section, your ideas for IYC2011 can start to become reality. Here, you can submit activities for consideration and, after a short review, they will be listed below and any related events will populate the IYC calendar. Activities listed here have a clearly defined theme and describe how, when, and where they will take place.

Toolkits for National Chemistry Weeks

This activity aims at developing toolkits for national chemistry days and weeks during IYC 2011 and to raise awareness of the importance of chemistry as the central science by highlighting the applications of chemistry in daily life.

Brazilian International Year of Chemistry Domain

Development of a domain which will centralize and disseminate all project actions via the Internet for the IYC in Brazil. In this sense, the Brazilian Chemical Society has already registered in the name and activated the domain www.quimica2011.org.br.
Chem13 News Periodic Table Design Project

"Women Sharing a Chemical Moment in Time" will bring together women chemists from 37 countries on 18 January 2011 using modern communication tools; each country/region will arrange its own event(s) and individual breakfasts will be linked together by SKYPE/video, and by using Twitter.
