Here, you can submit activities for consideration and, after a short review, they will be listed below and any related events will populate the IYC calendar. Activities listed here have a clearly defined theme and describe how, when, and where they will take place.

Water and Humanity

During the international celebration of "Water day" we will carry out a play where Mr. Water - a character that has already visited our school last year to celebrate this day - will have some interesting talks with humans reflecting about the importance of water and its uses....
UNESCO Contest of Writings Works and Drawings of the World Science Day for Peace and Development

Target to high school students, the competition has two categories: Drawings and Writings Works. This initiative is promoted by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in collaboration with institutions in the areas of education and science.
Spanish Commemorative Coin for the International Year of Chemistry

In response to a request from the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry, member of Foro QUÍMICA y SOCIEDAD, the “Real Casa de la Moneda” minted a new collector coin whose legends and motifs are dedicated to the International Year of Chemistry and the centennial of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry to Marie Curie.

Within the celebrations of the International year of Chemistry, 2011, the School of Chemistry at UNAM and the CARSO Group have joined efforts to bring chemistry to society and have organized an itinerant exposition if four commercial plazas of CARSO Group.
