In this section, your ideas for IYC2011 can start to become reality. Here, you can submit activities for consideration and, after a short review, they will be listed below and any related events will populate the IYC calendar. Activities listed here have a clearly defined theme and describe how, when, and where they will take place.

Australian National Chemical Analysis Competition

The competition encourages students who enjoy Chemistry - especially practical Chemistry. Entrants compete in teams of three. Each team member performs a simple acid-base titration. A NaOH solution is standardised against standard HCl. An "unknown" acetic acid solution is then titrated with the NaOH solution.
