In this section, your ideas for IYC2011 can start to become reality. Here, you can submit activities for consideration and, after a short review, they will be listed below and any related events will populate the IYC calendar. Activities listed here have a clearly defined theme and describe how, when, and where they will take place.

UNESCO Contest of Writings Works and Drawings of the World Science Day for Peace and Development

Target to high school students, the competition has two categories: Drawings and Writings Works. This initiative is promoted by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in collaboration with institutions in the areas of education and science.

All our Yesterdays: The pace of technological progress in clinical laboratory testing has been rapid and the lifetime of most analyzers is less than 10 years. To document and capture a special aspect of the history of clinical laboratory testing, Larry Kricka and Peter Wilding initiated this long-term project.
"Petru Poni" Chemistry Competition

The secondary and high school students are invited to submit and participate for a local chemistry competition which will take place on 19th March 2011 at "Gh.Asachi" Technical College from Iasi, Romania.This year the traditional contest will be held under the IYC logo promoting the related goals.
