Here, you can submit activities for consideration and, after a short review, they will be listed below and any related events will populate the IYC calendar. Activities listed here have a clearly defined theme and describe how, when, and where they will take place.

The Millennium Lecture series at Bath

The Millennium lectures are a series of popular science lectures held at the University of Bath. The lectures aim to inspire young scientists from local schools and the undergraduate community, as well as engage the general public and academics in interesting scientific topics.
Brazilian International Year of Chemistry Domain

Development of a domain which will centralize and disseminate all project actions via the Internet for the IYC in Brazil. In this sense, the Brazilian Chemical Society has already registered in the name and activated the domain www.quimica2011.org.br.
Chem13 News Periodic Table Design Project

Design, production, and release of Euro-based postage stamp in Slovak Republic

The Slovak Chemical Society has proposed the design, production, and release of a Euro-based postage stamp bearing the logo of the International Year of Chemistry (IYC 2011). Targeted release date is January 2011.
