Here, you can submit activities for consideration and, after a short review, they will be listed below and any related events will populate the IYC calendar. Activities listed here have a clearly defined theme and describe how, when, and where they will take place.

Science Saturday - Celebrating IYC2011

Hands-on science experiments for children are among the many activities planned for area residents during this year's celebration of the International Year of Chemistry (2011). The event is an outreach program hosted by the Southwest Georgia section of the American Chemical Society and Valdosta State University College of Arts

Through IYC 2011 branded items, the publications will promote IYC 2011 and its mission statement to celebrate the achievements of chemistry and its contributions to the well-being of humankind.
