IYC Chemistry award Siobhan Murphy   |   added on Sep 12, 2010    |    Ireland PharmaChemical Ireland will sponsor an IYC Chemistry Award at SciFest, this is a is a local one-day science fair held in third level colleges and open to all second level students. A SciFest fair includes a competition and exhibition of projects, a selection of science talks, science demonstrations in the college laboratories

The topic will be to imagine a "World without Polymers" and to write about the detrimental effect on society if polymers were absent. We expect to award prizes including a trip to the World Chemical Congress for award winners.
