In this section, your ideas for IYC2011 can start to become reality. Here, you can submit activities for consideration and, after a short review, they will be listed below and any related events will populate the IYC calendar. Activities listed here have a clearly defined theme and describe how, when, and where they will take place.

IYC Chemistry award Siobhan Murphy | added on Sep 12, 2010 | Ireland PharmaChemical Ireland will sponsor an IYC Chemistry Award at SciFest, this is a is a local one-day science fair held in third level colleges and open to all second level students. A SciFest fair includes a competition and exhibition of projects, a selection of science talks, science demonstrations in the college laboratories
A World without Polymers Giancarlo Galli | added on Aug 29, 2010 | International We will hold a video and essay contest celebrating IYC. The topic will be to imagine a "World without Polymers" and to write about the detrimental effect on society if polymers were absent. We expect to award prizes including a trip to the World Chemical Congress for award winners.
