CHEMQUEST Lee Hanlan   |   added on Feb 28, 2011    |    Canada On May 14th the chemistry departments at Simon Fraser University and Douglas College will host an afternoon of chemistry related hands-on activities, demonstrations and challenges to engage, educate and entertain the general public. This event will take place at Simon Fraser University's Burnaby Campus.

The Chemistry of Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament George Ruger   |   added on Feb 28, 2011    |    United States The speaker Shirley Johnson (IAEA) will be discussing her work in the areas of safeguarding of reprocessing plants and design verification. She worked for many years in Japan with the IAEA and was also one of the first female inspectors in Iraq in 1991 as a member of the 4th inspection team.

IYC 2011 HK Opening Ceremony Tony Chim   |   added on Feb 26, 2011    |    Hong Kong To formally officiate the launch of IYC 2011–Hong Kong, we will hold a opening ceremony and reception on Saturday 26th February 2011 at 5:30pm in the Purple Zone outside Lecture Theatre LT-18 at City University of Hong Kong.
