Here, you can submit activities for consideration and, after a short review, they will be listed below and any related events will populate the IYC calendar. Activities listed here have a clearly defined theme and describe how, when, and where they will take place.

Call for Expert Authors: Encyclopedia of Earth (EoE) Sidney Draggan   |   added on Jan 07, 2011    |    United States The EoE seeks chemistry experts to author defensible articles in their disciplines. Authors write articles and collaborate and review other Contributor's work. EoE is a free, fully searchable collection of content on the Earth, its natural environments, and their interaction with society. Also, we are seeking Topic Editors.

Networking Breakfast - Brookhaven National Laboratory, Upton, NY Kimberley Elcess   |   added on Jan 06, 2011    |    United States Women with a background in one of the chemical science or engineering disciplines will meet for breakfast to network and talk about their experiences as women in chemistry. Students and post-docs are especially encouraged to attend.

Networking Breakfast (for Dinner) - Bloomfield, NJ, USA Sarah Carberry   |   added on Jan 03, 2011    |    United States The Metro Women's Chemist Committee will have our first event of the year on Tuesday January 18th - Breakfast for Dinner. We will be joining women from around the world as participants in "Women Sharing a Chemical Moment in Time" as part of the International Year of Chemistry Celebration.

International Year of Chemistry Celebration in The Dalles, Oregon Erica Jacobsen   |   added on Dec 31, 2010    |    United States This activity is an IYC celebration through the Mid-Columbia Christian Homeschool Association in The Dalles, OR. The celebration will be a chance for students and parents to join in celebrating IYC, while participating in hands-on chemistry activities and enjoying chemistry-related snacks.
