In this section, your ideas for IYC2011 can start to become reality. Here, you can submit activities for consideration and, after a short review, they will be listed below and any related events will populate the IYC calendar. Activities listed here have a clearly defined theme and describe how, when, and where they will take place.

Chemistry Principles in Action Gwynneth Graciela Carla | added on Feb 05, 2011 | United States This activity aims to promote interesting chemistry principles in two ways: 1) demonstrations to Pre-K to 8th graders by my high school chemistry students; and 2) teacher-created webquests as classroom tools for instruction.
Year Long Activities Promoting Chemistry Christine Dimirjian | added on Feb 05, 2011 | United States Our chapter (Beta Gamma, UCLA) of the National Co-Ed Chemistry Fraternity, Alpha Chi Sigma, has been involved with numerous activities promoting chemistry in the past years, and will continue this year as well. Our events for this year include community outreach, research lecture series and Undergraduate Research Poster Day.
