The International Conference on Chemistry and the Environment (ICCE 2011) is the 13th biannual conference organized by the Division of Chemistry and the Environment (DCE) of the European Association of Chemical and Molecular Sciences (EuCheMS). It will be held from 11 to 15 September 2011 at ETH in Zurich, Switzerland.
ICCE 2011 will provide a unique communication and discussion platform for environmental scientists with emphasis on chemistry and ecotoxicology.
The main targets of ICCE 2011 are:
· To link pioneering research with existing and up-coming environmental issues.
· To discuss fundamental and applicable aspects related to the behavior and fate of chemicals in the environment.
· To generate awareness for emerging contaminants.
Outstanding invited keynote speakers will review and stimulate the interest in specific fields of interest. Submitted oral contributions and posters will be presented. The scientific programme will be completed by satellite events and by exhibitors presenting latest equipment and services in the field of environmental chemistry.
