Chemistry plays a key role in many areas of our work here at the Food and Environment Research Agency (Fera). We would like to establish a webpage on our website (with a link from the front page) giving an outline of how we use chemistry across the organisation.
The need to analyse a compound is a fundamental requirement of most areas of science, particularly those involving food and the environment. Chemistry plays a key role in many areas of Fera's work.See our website at: www.fera.defra.gov.uk
The techniques we use include: analytical chemistry; natural product chemistry; biological chemistry; computational chemistry; and formulation chemistry. Some of the areas where we use these techniques will be outlined via a link from the front page of our website, incorporating the IYC logo.
