Easing the School-to-University Transition: Improving and Enhancing the Undergraduate Experience

Making the transition from school to university is a daunting task for any student. Moving from classrooms to lecture theatres, working in labs full of unfamiliar apparatus, in new surroundings and often without the support of family and friends, university can appear a hostile and challenging environment.

As part of a series of projects brought together through the RSC’s teacher fellowship scheme and other RSC-funded education initiatives, the RSC presents a one-off symposium focusing on this important topic.

Who Should Attend?

This event is aimed at those teaching in universities, providing fresh and insightful ideas to help students achieve their full potential and to get the most from their time at university.
