Electrochem 2011 Poster Prize

Each year the SCI Electrochemical Technology Group together with two groups from the Royal Society of Chemistry (the Electrochemistry Group and the Electrochemical Analysis Sensing Systems Group) collaborated in a major conference lasting for 2-3 days.
This series of symposia, entitled Electrochem XXXX, is a key event for the electrochemical community and is strategically important for the Electrochemical Technology Group. These annual meetings showcase recent advances made in electrochemical technology in both academic and industrial sectors.
Next year Electrochem 2011 is to be held at Bath University on 5-6 September, 2011. The programs will include presentations, poster sessions, discussions and awards. One of the highlights is the three poster prizes, given by each of the three Groups. These awards which recognize excellent research will help to stimulate more interest among the applicants, many of whom are post-graduate students. The SCI poster prize will also publicize the society’s role in promoting science and technology leading to commercial success. On behalf of the Electrochemical Technology Group, I would like to request approval of this award, which comprises of a cash prize of £50 and a framed certificate. Details are summarized as follows.
